The Riverside Walk is our Discipleship Pathway and it is on this Sunday the 8th of September at 4:30pm.
We will discuss the question 'am I a disciple now?'
It doesn’t matter if you have not been part of the Riverside Walk yet, it is designed that you can jump in at any point and catch up on the steps when they come around again. We run the course every year.
If you are planning to come, please let us know before by signing up on the form in the foyer at the Church so that we can cater appropriately and please bring a donation to contribute towards dinner, Thank You.
Bubbles is our Parent and Toddler Group and runs from 9:30am until 2pm on both Tuesdays and Wednesdays during term time.
We start with songs, puppets, stories and activities with a Christian ethos for about 30 mins.
After that we bring out the toys and open out the whole building to make one great big free play area.
We share fruit at 10:30am and the Cafe is open from 9am for coffee and from 11am for our special Bubbles menu.
The whole day is given over to the toddler group so you are free to stay until 2pm and enjoy the courtyard gardens, and soft play area.
The cost is $2 per child. There is no need to book but it'd great if you let us know you plan to come along.
If you are in years 7-12, SHOUT Youth is the place to be in Gawler. Every Friday from 7pm-9pm during term time.
The cost is $2 each week and this includes food.
Our dedicated and trained team make sure everyone belongs and is valued.
SHOUT is run by members of Riverside Church so you can expect all content, values and interactions to have a strong Christian ethos, but saying that, one of our Church values is FUN so you can be assured of a great laugh and a great place to make good solid friendships.
Come on give us a try, you'd be crazy not too!

So many people have had a background in church but for a variety of reasons have drifted away. Sadly, the majority of reasons can be traced to relationships with other Christians. So many have been hurt, disillusioned, rejected and overlooked by the church and its people. It is often true that Christians are the worst advert for Christianity, but we at Riverside also believe the best advert for Christianity is meant to be Christians who openly reflect the love, grace, mercy and humility of Jesus. Our hearts break for those who have not been shown the reality of Jesus and have missed how beautiful being part of a community really should be. We hope that you accept this personal invitation and give the 'imperfect followers of Jesus' at Riverside an opportunity to reveal Jesus' heart for you and revive your faith. Bless you all.
